The early cars all had track rod ends with grease nipples. Not sure when they changed to the newer nipple-less units (and as with all changes at MMC it would have been a very blurred time line) but I guessing the late 70s (unless anyone here knows differently?)
. They may have gone with the Change to rack and pinion.
