Sorry. Two bit of news in the one article . The nitrogen damage is mainly due to run-off from pig farms. This increase nitrogen in the waterways leading to all sorts of problems such as algae blooms which suffocate normal marine life. Also pollutes groundwater with nitrogen and phosphorus. It is a totally different issue to the automotive emissions and I am sure it is quite justifiable,
