has a polo has a Polo, she has always been a VW fan. It is not the GTI and I rather disrespectfully call it the "shopping trolly". When new the suspension seemed harsher than the Morgan but now it has run in it is reasonably compliant. It is a 2016 1.2 TSi 105 PS and lacks torque until the turbo cuts in so is often a bit sluggish coming out of hairpins in second gear, particularly if it has a load on. If it can be kept in the effective turbo band it gets along quite nicely.
Yes they handle quite well imho and we always call Heathers car the shopping trolley - I'm still awaiting my £1 deposit back from the first one though
We have always had at least one VW on the fleet and 3 at one time when the girls were at Uni, they are well built unpretentious cars that do what they say on the tin, unless of course they are diesel
We had a sequence of the earlier 16V 1.4 normally aspirated 100 bhp Polos and they were great fun too and very akin the first Golf GTI's before they got too lardy for my taste so I imagine you and John V6 have fun with your TSI's.
