Chas Windridge also did do supercharger conversions as I drove one at Cranfield a few years ago , not this one pictured either , a plus 4 , it had a 2.3 litre engine and had a big shiny air pipe down the side of the engine and was putting out 250 bhp and the engine internals had been upgraded to cope with the power . Didn't buy it as the steering was very heavy , should have bought it though ! (I did meet Chas at a race event and he said he had done various upgrades to trads before he had to steady up a bit due to illness.
I would ask a lot of questions to Brands Hatch and if you get the right answers then book a test drive /put a small deposit down if they can't do a drive at present !
