What are the things I shouod attend to as part of a routine yearly service on my plus 4...oil change,kingpins,brake pads/shoes.what else?
Depends how OCD you are.
I also check:
plugs and leads ( Magnecors in my case, so low risk area),
air filter element,
Coolant level and strength ( in fact I change mine very year),
all hoses and joints,
I assume you'll look at oil filter element when you consider oil change.
If car is any age, what about your auxiliary belt ( ie alternator)?
You might also want to look at tightening various bolts/nuts etc because we are talking here about a car with a separate chassis which will flex and loosen all sorts of things

PS On a personal level,I'd also check things such as brake fluid strength, diff oil and gearbox oil but wouldn't consider these as routine ( ie yearly) things.
