reckons it was designed by a pervert as the driver`s hand comes into contact with the passenger`s leg when applying the handbrake - she should be so lucky. However if I had a different passenger of a newer model it might be more interesting.

I have a similar storage tray and used double sided adhesive tape to fix it. Worked well for more than 5 years
