The relays might have been moved because the Omex installation requires a different wiring setup.
When I fitted my own Omex 600 I installed the relays and the ECU where the old toolbox used to be on my 1999 4/4.
The old relays used to be on the side of the passenger footwell (outside in the engine compartment) just underneath the wiper motor.
Same year car but I don't know if the Plus8 and 4/4 had similar wiring layouts.
My suggestion would be to track down whoever fitted the Omex 710 ECU and ask them. They will know.
