I'm in bicycles too... The last two years I'm at home. VERY often I look out: clouds. Lokking at "wetter.de": rain.
Rain - no ride. But hanging around the house no rain this day. But on the other way: I must travel i the Bodensee Area.
The question: by train or the Harley. Wetter.de: only 8-10% rain, only a few mms.
After 60miles: small drops. Bigger drops. Rain. No option for a stop. Running on. Karlsruhe - "Berufsverkehr", no option for a stop. Running on. Fuelstop near Stuttgart. A man ask me: do you want my raingear? Answer: no, it lokks like no clouds in my direction. Some dry miles.
Only a few. Changing the motorway more in the south. More rain.
In the evening in the hotelbar: another college: bad weather, allways using the wipers. The next guy: I'm lucky, travelling by train. Than they look at me: what 's about your journey? My answer: oh, no wipers all the way. I' m travelling with my bike.
Funny, lucky, but wet.
