Perhaps the mohair hood is less prone to this problem than the vinyl one.
Right. Our Mohair 2009 factory hood is as tight as a drum. I suppose if the sagging persists then a 'slip over' length of Pipe insulation or the like, fitted along on the frame top/s might help (but more stuff to carry around)
