Hi, I would think that a Plus 4 with a few tweeks to the 2.0 Duratec engine would give you plenty of power unless you want to do some serious track days! I have had in the past a 5.0 Jaguar XKR, Aston Martin DB9 and a Porsche 911, but hand on heart this (Marty my 2011 Plus 4) car gives me a great driving experience where you feel like you are driving the car and not the car driving you! The 2 litre Ford Engine mated to the slick Mazda 5 speed box is a real joy.
