I agree, the motor is from a Ford Fiesta MK4.
The problem is that the cable at the front of the door is bent through a very tight bend, this means the cable runs on the outer casing and can then fray, causing it to jam.
I had my O/S unit replaced a couple of years back and, because of time constraints,I had to buy a complete new set up from the factory - ouch!!
Sadly, they won't sell just the cable.....
If you are lucky, you can just replace the simple Bowden cable (but it has an odd 'hockey stick' / 'L' shape end to it) and the length is
critical.
