Yes I'd go the ceramic coating route at that price, I thought I remembered reading on the M3W section that wrapping them increases corrosion on the pipes, I could be wrong.
The 3.8 Mk2 Jags manifolds looked cool with the black finish.
The corrosion issue has been around a long time Richard, relating to stainless manifold and wrapping.
But its anecdotal, plus we don't know what quality of stainless manifold, we don't know which wrap was used. Furthermore we don't know how well it was applied, or what use each vehicle was put to.
The way I see this, I can take it off for a check whenever I need to. I can re-wrap for under £100 if I need to.
For me this is a better option than ceramic coating. The two examples above do show that on marginal emissions, wrapping can help!
