There is enough slack in the electrical loom to allow the speedometer and tachometer to be transposed. It's just a nuts and bolts job with the centre dash panel tilted to allow access. I have the Speedo on the RH side in my RH drive car as it is easier to see, I can hear the engine so know what the rpm is. From the factory the tachometer is normally on whatever side the driver is.
Just noticed that your avatar shows a Heritage Dash, that may not be so easy to swop the instruments, I don't know. Let us know if you do the job, it may be easy?
