dangerous to drive at night! I'm finding my night vision is not what it was. One of the disadvantages of getting old
Hi Gizmo. I am 80 and had this problem at 70. Discussed with my optician who referred me for an operation to remove my cataract filled lenses. The natural lenses were replaced by lenses calculated to provide perfect long range vision. I wear varifocal glasses with clear upper parts and correction for near sight in the lower section. I now have no qualms about night driving. I can look directly at oncomming traffic without suffering from light scatter. I recommend checking to find out if this could be a way to help in your case. Appologies for the thread drift.
