If you really want it to stick, bathroom mirror tape will do the trick; however, be warned, once stuck down, it tends to stay in place. I use it for my registration plates and they have been known to crack before I can get them unstuck from the car. A small piece would do the trick but as I'd only use it as a last resort before the drill.
