Plans, good question.
In Australia the first thing we're planning on is a long wait for the 3 wheeler,
It'll be used pretty much like my current 3 wheeler except it will go a lot quicker, a real lot actually.
It won't be a daily driver. Will get used 3-4 times a week. Weekend jaunts and to work on Friday for the traditional Aussie early finish on Poets Day (Piss Off Early Tomorrows Saturday).
It'll be one of half a dozen cars. Couldn't imagine it as an only vehicle, 3 wheelers really aren't much fun in heavy rain. You can kit up for the cold like biggles but when it rains you'll be getting wet and fogging up.
Never hidden away, you buy a 3 wheeler you drive it for the fun factor and the whooping grin it'll put on your face.
I reckon around 5,000 miles pa.
Would definitely take it on a long trip. Just have to plan it well. Not sure if the better half would be as keen as me though. No problem really as I'll just have more room for luggage in the spare seat. Distance of 200-300 miles a day would be plenty enough. 3 wheelers are fun but when you start covering a bit of distance at a constant speed (60-80mph) it gets tiring from the wind buffering.
With a 3 wheeler be prepared for people following you into carparks etc just to ask you what it is. The trick I learnt after a while was to park it and run, otherwise bailed up chatting for ages. I imagine there will be even more interest with a shiny new Morgan 3 Wheeler then with my 2CV powered Lomax.
Bring it on.
