'The Right Stuff' movie.
It is about the space race and early astronaut training but Yeager* appears in the first part of the movie as he attempts to break the sound barrier.
One of my all time favourite movies; turn the sound up.....

* the real Yeager makes a cameo appearance as the Janitor who cuts his broom handle in half to allow the pilot to close the cockpit!
