Aeroflot in the 80s, inland flights:
Separate boarding for non-soviets to avoid close contact to Russians. Terrible chicken meal and strange tasting soft drinks. Waiting and waiting and waiting for flights that got finally cancelled around midnight without comments.
I was happy when overnight trains were an alternative transport to get from A to B
I always enjoyed to travel - but not in the USSR ( CCCP )
