Also, If an independent Scotland managed to somehow re-join the EU, there would have to be a border at Hadrians Wall to prevent free movement from the EU to the UK via Scotland. Do the Scottish people understand and accept this?
Hadrians wall is not on the border between England and Scotland! On the East coast its about 60 miles South of the border, so you've just given away Alnwick, Lindesfarne etc etc the best bits of England.
