My AMG SLC43 was averaging 7.5 mpg when I was only using it to go to the station & back. Motorway cruising at 90mph ( in Germany obviously) returns 32mpg.

Worst cost is front tyres - six months of the multi storey carpark corners & the mercedes crabbing problem means a set of fronts only last a couple of thousand miles.
