The wipers started to work on their own after 5 mins or so of driving, and remained faultless after. The car hasn’t been driven in the rain since 4 years of ownership, so I don’t think it would be corrosion.
I just sprayed WD-40 Contact Cleaner to the wiper motor connector, including the multi pin connector in the steering column.
Hopefully they will remain faultless
