I was made redundant 4 times. Once you get past the insult that they ditched you it can be quite liberating. Oh & screw them on the package.
My last corporate employer made me redundant but made such a mess of the process that I negotiated a 25% uplift in the payout. I then started my own business and went consulting. No regrets. A lot less stress. A lot less driving and a lot more freedom. Now retired (since Dec-17) and still cannot believe I worked for other people for so long.
