Went for a lengthy blast in my 2015 M3W to enjoy some sunshine. Fabulous as always.
When I arrived home and the car stopped moving I was clearly able to smell 'something hot'.
I found my rear wheel/ brake was very hot indeed, and when I went to push the car into the garage it was hard work as the rear brake was obviously dragging.
I have seen the numerous previous posts on the Forum regarding rear brake issues, and was not looking forward to having to remove the whole assembly to resolve the problem. Fine as a Winter job, but I want to use the car in better weather !

Luckily, I made a chance phone call to Phil Bleazey( such a pleasant person and incredibly knowledgeable) regarding one of his upgrades, and mentioned my rear brake problem. He immediately suggested simply changing the brake fluid before doing anything else.

I changed the fluid, flushing plenty through in the process, and the result is a total success. No binding and all is as it should be.

I suggest that if anyone else has a similar problem just try a fluid change first and foremost. It worked for me.
