Thanks for your replies chaps. There is lots of information on M16 calipers on a Google search, but not so for the T48 type. Simon, do you know whether there was a change over date for the two different types or was it a "fit what's available"?
Arwyn, yours is probably a sound policy and I could yet follow it but for me part of the joy or otherwise of Morgan ownership is the maintenance challenge.
Hopefully I will get the calipers off over the week end and measure the piston diameters which may or may not help.....
I believe the change is in 1978 to the T48 Girling. (the caliper has T48 cast into it )
However MMC being MMC do bounce parts around depending on what they find on the shelf.....
