I cannot answer all of your questions however I can answer some. The DCM is still available only through Morgan and the cost is circa £600. It is quite a complex and compact PCB and unless you are very good at electronics I would leave well alone. I have removed the DCM previously to work on the dashboard, that alone is not to difficult. The board contains amongst other things an audible sounder for the indicators and mine have ceased working so I decided to fit an aftermarket sounder to let me know when the indicator was engaged. I took the car into a main dealer for the annual MOT and it failed on hazzards not working !! To keep it short the dealer told me that the DCM was very sensitive to add ons, and quoted me the above figure to teplace the board. I told him to remove my audible unit just in case. The good news having removed the audible unit the hazzards were working again, MOT resolved and saved £600 plus fitting. I would leave well alone
