G56 puts a tune in it and if you are good at figuring out reading the software you should be able to tweak the tune yourself. I am not that guy, but the tune does start and run the machine with lots of power available.
You can mount it where they suggest but also it fits flat on top of the footwell under the bonnet or on the firewall and if you put it there then there is easy access to the ports and switch. Just a personal preference.
