There is already a commitment in place to increase the percentage of E in pump fuel, I have a chart of the % vs date, but can't find it, but rest assured it is happening


To hit the carbon reduction commitment we need about a 7% cut in CO2 emissions year-on-year for the next 30 years, so ICE cars have got no real prospect of continuing in mass use beyond the next 15 years or so I would think, possibly sooner. None of us particularly like the idea so we're going to have to be forced into it through a combination of legislation and taxation.
