I agree with you completely, Hamwich. And there is another aspect...in which decade was the personal fashion and taste for colors formed. For example, I would place the combination BRG/Mulberry, which I find very good, in the sixties. In contrast, I would see Craig's also very beautiful combination stylistically originated in the 1920s...even if it is an evergreen until today and still shapes the taste. I think of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Gladly cream or beige and tan colors were also combined with darker brown.

BTW my first Morgan was Indigo with Mulberry. At the time I was a bit unhappy about my choice of combination. But together with BRG or black Mulberry looks very appealing to me today.
