Brilliant engineer. I was more impressed with his Velocette V twin creation though using parts from two 350cc engines. Very full description here. It's been done before with two pushrod M series engines (Velocette Vulcan) but a greater achievement to my mind with the obstacle solving and electrics upgrade.
