in my troubleshooting I went many steps but unfortunately no step further. I also ask all who drive a V8 with EFI Hotwire to report as technology is very similar.
Current problem: Starts very badly. 5 attempts each 4 seconds and then he comes very laboriously, apparently cylinder after cylinder. Runs then realtiv well but not quite round. The warmer it gets, after about 5 minutes, it becomes more out of round and also goes out when jerky acceleration.
The following I tried because I also wanted to put the spare parts on my shelf.
Ignition coil, distributor cap, fuel pump, fuel filter, mass air flow sensor Hotwire, idle stabilizer, temperature sensor, crankshaft sensor, spark plugs, both control units.
Fuel pressure is just a bit under 3 bar and is held even with the engine stopped.
Spark is visible, plug outside engine. Vacuum line to the control unit is free and OK, also to the fuel pressure regulator.
So far not checked are errors on the wiring harness. Do you have any hints for me? Am grateful for your advice.
