This is homage to the MMC race car "Big Blue" which had a Chevrolet engine,(after the Rover V8s proved unreliable in the state of time needed to be competitive.
You can see bits of the early "transition" car blended in with the later Aero 8 models. Not sure the picture does it full justice , I think I would want to see it in the metal.
