Just in case I haven't warned everyone about this....
My car had the non dipstick oil tank cap & in short the rubber bit inside the cap fell out into the oil tank & blocked the pipe that the oil should have gone down into the engine.
This resulted in a major engine rebuild with extremely difficult to locate parts.
If you have that type of cap you need to check your rubber bit is still in the cap & not the tank & either way get rid of the feckin' thing !
All is eventually well that ends well, albeit expensively
