Hi Iam new to this forum.Had my 2007 +4 for 5years and do my own maintenance. 5year ago I repaired the tool tray and have just had to do it again. I am looking to improve what will be an old problem to you all i.e the diff hitting the tool tray when I manage to find a significant pot hole..New springs and AVO’s were fitted 4 years ago and improved the situation a little.
I seem to have two options :-
1) Add bump stops to the shock absorber rods
2)Add the spring assisters detailed in Dave W article in February Miscellany
Can anyone advise :- a)which is most effective ?.
b)Where I can obtain the Spring Assisters in Dave’s article
