I have located the battery isolating switch at the upper corner inside the glove compartment. Painted the red handle black, so not easy to see.
Easy to reach (for me) but not easy to find for anyone else (I hope). It is a struggle to get it there, but for me it seems a better position than behind the seats. Mounted keychain to the handle, so I can add it tot my car keys when I leave the car.
