Should our 1985 4/4 have a filter in the heater air intake?
Is it a good idea to retrofit one?
The heater currently works well and has a foam seal surround between intake & bonnet but no filter.
My 94 car did , sorry no idea on earlier cars but if there is a clear ridge/ trough as in the photo to hold a filter I would say so.
