My Plus Four is exactly the same, it locks the doors outside but you can open them from the in side, mind you, every new car is the same.
Thats a good point - if I lock my Corsa with the central locking you can open it from the inside with just the door handle. Not tried locking it with the key.
Most 'blipper' operated central locking requires a 2nd blip, the first just locks, the second deadlocks so thieves breaking a window can't pop the door open from the inside door latch
Have the CX owners tried the 2nd blip technique ??
