Howard,I got done for speeding last year, (near Malton North Yorks) the speed camera got me doing 57mph on a 50mph road (A64).
The summons stated that NY police operate a 10% plus 2mph leeway, resulting in me going on a bad boys course.
The camera van got me the week lockdown ended at 0615hrs on a near deserted road.

I got caught out doing a couple of mph over the 30 on a beautiful, bright sunny day with no other cars or people about. It was a quiet country road and I will admit that my mind was on the beauty of the day not watching the speedo, anyway, bad boys course followed and I have to say that I would have gladly paid the £80 to be able to attend the course without the stigma. It really reminded me of the basics that I had forgotten over the years but of course I am now more likely to run people over as I stare at the speedo instead of concentrating on driving!!!
