I have a mechanical JeagerLC and it went away for a service which I was advised would take two/three months.
I bought a lovely self winding German mechanical watch to cover the period (man logic applied) and love it.
https://www.laco-watches.com/en/indexI think it was roughly this model in black body and black strap. They had a sale on and it was about £300 from memory.
https://www.laco-watches.com/en/wat...ch-augsburg-42mm-automatic-leather-strap It has been excellent with little to no marking on the body and the strap has remained intact. It feels very solid and I thought it great value. You can see the mechanism through the glass back just like a £20k Panerai
The watch cost less than the JLC service. Made me think.
