Yes, same here, free European map updates for life. I've never had the need to buy another satnav since.

Much better value than my first "Navman" which cost over £100 to update the UK map.


Just remember, 'life' means 'for as long as we can be bothered to provide updates'. I have three Tom Toms with 'lifetime maps' that are no longer supported/updated.

Interesting - mine is a 4EN42 Z1230 and at £9 a year it owes me nothing - nice if the updates keep on rolling in though.
