I've played with several sound actuators in my work. I haven't heard one that approaches "hi fi" yet but maybe these are better. They are being fitted to piano soundboards and inside acoustic guitars to produce effects like reverb, chorus etc. and work well as an effect. But play music through them (they are wireless in these applications) and the sound is extremely restricted by the surface they are fitted to.
But this stuff advances all the time so maybe these will be ok...?
