Taken the liberty of copying across from PM conversation Dave and I have had regarding his 3.7 Roadster.
Sorted!! You won't believe it - the bottom corner of the air intake box is incredibly close to the back of the engine and it had rubbed through the wiring loom that connects to both cam sensors (plus a few others). it's just pathetic build/design . Anyway I had to strip the whole loom back , cut the breaks out and solder the broken wires, then re-wrap the cables. This is the 3rd loom failure the car has had!! I filed the edge of the air intake away and re routed the loom. I then had a look around the rest of the engine bay and there are lots of accidents waiting to happen!!This pic of mine without air box illustrates cabling in front of heater hoses.
