Just come back from a 2,500 mile ride through France, Andorra and Spain, got as far south as Granada then came back up through the middle to get the ferry from Bilbao.
Went up to 45C on some of the days!

Yeah! What a trip.That’s a real adventure on a bike and a superb bonding exercise between father and son.
Only thing is…with a 16 year old son, I tend to think you are a tad younger than the originator of this

My oldest son is 35. His first road trip was to Sweden to a big bike event., my next is 24. His first little trip was a taster was around Arizona when he was 8 but his big trip was riding around Hokkaido when he was 15. My 21 year old got his first road trip in Arizona and Nevada too age 11 (and we got to go out to dinner with Elton John's crew in Vegas too.
Not sure the age of original poster but I'm 60 :-)
