In 2010 they changed from series 2 to series 3 Roadsters. So both could be possible re your Roadster. I had a series 2 from 2008 with a high amount of rev hanging which was cured by getting another ECU from MMC. Hp was around 205 Hp or so but the engine was very smooth running with a good „felt“ torque. My 2010 was the earliest series 3 in the summer of 2010 with the wider front axle and around 230 Hp in form of the then new Roadster sport. This car never had an issue with rev hang. But as Richard says the fault of your engine could have another cause.
