The 14CUX +8s are set up to run hot in order to minimise emissions. Even though I have an alloy high capacity radiator and bonnet extension catches my fan will come on almost as soon as I have spent a couple of minutes in traffic. As soon as I get decent airflow through the radiator it cools down pretty rapidly, and tends to run around the 80/85 Deg C mark ( but I doubt the accuracy of the gauge!)
