When I worked in Canada there was a plug in the front of the car which had a heater in the sump you plugged into the 110volt supply overnight..
In Norway every car has a 230V heater. I tried a long time to find such heater that I coult make fitting to my CX500.

Ah, that's a version I didn't know. The problem was finding a mounting point on our motorbike engine. The engine housing and the cylinders are one unit.
Anyway, I'm too old now to go to Norween in the winter with the motorbike/ sidecar...
