That was a point raised by Peter Ballard of SSL Peter. Given his unfamiliarity with the AVO shocks I had fitted he was unsure they had internal cushioned compression stops and even supplied some additional ones when I ordered their RS kit sans shocks. The AVO's it turns out do have such stops but on consideration I ordered the Spax gas adjustables that SSL have customised for their kit and fitted the whole lot together some time ago. The AVO's were sold on.
