This might sound a daft question but to remove the lid from the air filter box how to you access the torx screw behind the rad fan with the brace bar in the way? the only way I can see is to remove the 2 large filter housing bracket nuts and possibly remove the whole lot which seems overkill for changing an air filter.
While its off I'm looking to swap out the filter to a K&N KN33-2877 otherwise I'd leave well alone.
