To be fair, I've spent the last 30+ years living off grid while the road-squatters have been guzzling the world's resources like there's no tomorrow .... now, all of a sudden, they're all up in arms about what any rational person could see coming down the road decades ago (hence our move to a rural location with land and the planting of thousands of trees, setting up stand-alone water, sewage and electrical systems along with growing the majority of our own vegetables) ... I have no intention of being guilted out of enjoying my low-impact, long-lived little toy car or the Defender I need for workhorse duties (for which there is currently no EV alternative) by a bunch of grey-haired wannabe Che Guevaras or paint splashing children with a tenuous grasp of both physics and their own gender.
