The (Japanese) company that I worked for didn’t want me to retire. Apparently they value age and experience!
My health said otherwise and 10 years ago, I retired at age 62.
Those 10 years have been great. Many of the things that seemed important when I was working, have become irrelevant.
My advice! If your pensions allow, retire as soon as you can. Enjoy the rest of your life. You’ve earned it.
