Looks more like a cheap sheet metal trim. For the exhaust system, I don't know if only one pipe per side was original on the early Aeros. As I said, one would have to look at it in the metal.
Yes Heinz, single pipes either side was the usual choice, this one looks like it's had the Librands Sports 4 outlet system fitted.
